Bodyboard buying guide
A well-sized bodyboard is easier to carry, control and enjoy in the waves. Start with rider height and weight together, then choose the board type that fits a child, adult, family session or more responsive ride.
Use the stated rider range to choose a compact board a child can hold, carry and control comfortably. Height and weight are more useful than age alone.
EPS and PE describe the board’s foam core. EPS boards often feel lighter and more buoyant; PE boards tend to have more flex. Rider preference and water conditions both matter.
Adults should choose a model that fits their stated rider range. Larger tandem boards are designed for shared rides where listed on the product page.
