THURSO SURF

I love my surf board so far no issue.

Needed a bigger Touring SUP board, i've already tried a friend's one, absolutely loved it.
Great quality, beautiful design and i bought it with a great package deal, Rechargeable Electric Air Pump (so easy) , Carry Roller Backpack, Carbon Hybrid Paddle, Leash, Fin Box Touring Click Fin. Probably the Best Value for money you Will find.

I purchased this for a family vacation si I could snorkle and swim and not worry about leaving my phone and wallet on the beach.This bag handled that perfectly. I was skeptical at first and put it in a bucket of water for a few hours at home before I left with some napkins to test. I was dry inside after about 2 hours.When I first got to the beach on the vacation, I had my wife hold cell and wallet and went in for about an hour and when I came out it was bone dry inside. Now that I trusted it, I put it all in, and it worked great.It's a little larger than I'd like, but I guess that's not a bad thing I guess. The material is fairly stiff, it's like a molded rubber or a rubber coated cloth. The zipper can be a little stiff and comes with some silicone. Thisnactually put my mind at east that it wouldn't open up while swimming, so while it wasn't the easiest to open and close I believe that's a feature.Is it water tight? Yes, very much so. You do have to look to make sure the zipper is FULLY closed. I know that sounds obvious, but but if you're used to having a waste bag and haphazardly opening and closing it, it won't be waterproof unless it's FULLY CLOSED.You can use it 2 different ways, leave it puffed up full of air and it will float, push the air out before zipping it and it will not. You may not want it to float if you're snorkeling or swimming below the water and don't want the buoyancy. I got a bright yellow one to make it easier to see if it came off. I'll probably let it float if I'm canoeing or something where I'm not in the water, but take the air out if I'm swimming.The belt is also removable, which is a great feature to me. I'm a larger guy and most of the other bags I looked at were on the smaller size for me. You can change out the belt for a larger one, a more comfortable one, or a new one if the old one becomes unserviceable. I used a dive weight belt that fits me a little better.Overall I'm quite pleased with this bag as we're a few people I saw while on vacation who asked how to get one.If I could change anything about it, it would be to make a model a little smaller in addition to this one to be a little less obvious when not in the water but overall a great product.

This is the first paddle board I purchased, and have no regrets. As soon as I stepped onto the board I felt the stability it had. Any direction I wanted to go or turn, it responds excellent. All the bungees and paddle holding straps are so well thought out. I am so pleased with the durability and how solid this is built, I am so pleased with it, and will refer this brand to anyone who needs a recommendation.

It arrived...... beautifully packaged. I appreciate that. I loved the board, bag, pump. Everything. I had it in my garage until the weather allowed me to go out for the first time. The electric pump was perfect.... I filled the board to 15 psi, attached the fins (not my favourite fin system but with force I installed them) then set off. It's a beautiful board, looks stunning and is fast and well tracking on the water. My only complaint is I found it to be less stable on the water than others I've tried. It'll be interesting to see how our dog does on my board compared to my partner and my last board.

can't be happier with this board, it is my first board but I'm glad I purchased one that I can grow into. the board looks beautiful, love the details and it feels great all around... I can already tell that it's a very fast board.... and the rechargeable pump is wonderful

These fit perfectly! We have 4 HL paddle boards from Costco and have lost 2 fins. The original fin that came with the board is 10in L by 6 1/4 w by 5/16in thick and this replacement is 8 1/4in L by 6 1/4in W by 5/16in thick. So yes, the replacement is a few inches shorter but it's doesn't affect movement in the water. I'm just happy I found this replacement fin, it locks right in and does exactly what it's supposed to do.

It’s our first board and first time ever trying such an activity. Was really easy to inflate it, rechargeable pump big plus, though on/of button act weird, it works only if to push it from one side (probably just bad contact on it), but with couple of tries I figured how push it. Got to 15psi and shut off automatically, took about 5-6 minutes. Fins easy to attach. Bag for accessories big plus too. Tried it in all different positions to paddle, stand up, on my knees, and sitting like on kayak (probably next would purchase kayak seat). Board is stable enough (even for first timer ). Not a pro to give opinion on quality in comparison to any other, but it was totally satisfying for me and my wife . Found it even to be easier to navigate with my wife on board. And carrying backpack fitted board, two paddles plus 2 additional blades, 2 life jackets and pump. Wheels on it made my day better;)

Noisy electric pump, like all these pumps.
Paddle fits perfect in the hand.
Very easy to install the fins. I only install the big fin on lakes (good stability). At sea I recommend to install all three.

I recommended your Board to a friend of mine and he purchased one yesterday, he choosed the Maxi, because he is a beginner.

I got this to use on my paddle board to put my phone, keys, etc. It seems to be just as pictured and described. Update to come.

The THURSO SURF Quill 42” bodyboard is easily the best bodyboard I've ever owned. It is lightweight and durable, and it offers great maneuverability and good distance. I am 5-10, 185lbs, and I rode countless waves at Gulf Shores, Alabama, during a recent weeklong beach stay. People actually asked me if I was a “pro” or if I was using a professional board, because the THURSO SURF board made me look good on the water.

The Good:-Waterproof-Looks good-Secure wrist band-Great for the beachThe Bad:-NoneThe Bottom Line:I take this all the time to the beach since it is water and sand proof. The belt is secure and you could wear it while paddle boarding if you want. Overall, I would recommend this Danny pack for it's size and quality.

This is a nicely made and fairly spacious little bag with some nice options for mounting to a belt or pack. It's made from a TPU or silicone style material that's decently thick and while it is flexible it is able to keep its structure. The waterproof zipper was a little stiff, which is normal in my experience, but after lubricating it with the included gel it did improve and was waterproof in my testing although I only submerged it for a minute or so to check it out. The rear of the little pouch has both belt loops and four velcro straps that are MOLLE compatible which makes it easy to lash to most packs even if they don't have MOLLE webbing. All the seams are cleanly welded; overall it's a well made pouch that I really don't have any complaints with.
