SUP Explorer – The Best Places to Stand Up Paddle Board
Alouette Lake is a calm, clear lake nestled into the mountains of Golden Ears Provincial Park. It is a quick walk from the parking lot to the beach for an easy launch. There are lots of small beaches and things to look at along the way. The lake is about 11 square kilometres, so there is plenty of space to paddle. The only downside is that motorboats are allowed. We have been there when there are no boats and when there have been lots of boats and jet skis. Definitely quieter and more peaceful with no motor vessels!

SUP Explorer Tips For Your Visit to Alouette Lake
- Be careful of boat traffic. Stay to the right of the lake if possible. The boats tend to congregate on the left side as that is where the boat launch is.
- There is no cellular service
