No. It is not a surfboard. Paddleboards can handle the small wakes of passing motorboats and shore waves, however, it is not designed for surfing large, active water or waves.

You can inflate your SUP using any one of our electric or hand-pump pumps designed specifically for inflating our line of iSUPs.

Yes! THURSO SURF iSUP boards are designed with double layers of PVC, so they are extremely durable and can handle heavy usage. iSUPs are known to be more durable, than wood paddle boards, and are also more portable and storable.

Boards may deflate over time (up to 4 psi in 7 days depending on the change in temperature). Be sure to check board pressure before paddling.

Love the quality and stability.

I’ve only ever used entry level iSUPs before deciding to upgrade to the Waterwalker. I really love everyone about it. It looks sweet and I often get compliments. It is very stable without being too wide which also helps it to feel more maneuverable. I can comfortably take a more aggressive stance and even take it out in some bigger waves in Lake Huron. I actually am preferring riding in the waves now. All the accessories are great. The carbon paddle is nice. I love that I can attach the paddle to the board on either side. Cordless pump is super convenient and works fast. Overall I’m very happy that I chose Thurso Surf over the iRocker I was considering at a similar price.

A beautiful board

It arrived...... beautifully packaged. I appreciate that. I loved the board, bag, pump. Everything. I had it in my garage until the weather allowed me to go out for the first time. The electric pump was perfect.... I filled the board to 15 psi, attached the fins (not my favourite fin system but with force I installed them) then set off. It's a beautiful board, looks stunning and is fast and well tracking on the water. My only complaint is I found it to be less stable on the water than others I've tried. It'll be interesting to see how our dog does on my board compared to my partner and my last board.

All I need is my Waterwalker

first of all delivery was very fast! The Waterwalker is my first SUP. Even if other companies offer more than 2 years warranty, I choosed this 132-board as I can use it together with my 2 kids and because Thurso has gadgets other boards do not have: Paddle holder, carrying straps on 2 sides,carbon paddle, 3 (2-1) fines, roller backpack; so I think the price-quality was perfect for me. I now used it the first time on Mediterranean Sea and the board was very easy to handle despite the waves. even with my 2 teenagers on it, we were still safe. I have to admit that the 132 is very heavy to carry for me, so I have bought a trolley to do long walking distances.

Waterwalker - fun and versatile

After a half-dozens uses, the Walkterwalker 132 has proven to be super fun, reliable and versatile. I have paddled in a calm ocean, windy river, mountain lakes, and local ponds. The quality is 3, and the durability is solid so far. I also highly recommend the electric pump which inflates to a specified air-pressure...just set the PSI, then let it do all the work while you prep your other gear.

Awesome board! Best way to enjoy the water!

I did a lot of research before I bought this board ' it's been 2 years now - and I have no regrets.It's a great deal with not just the board (which looks amazing), but also a great paddle, pump, carry bag, and cooler bag (that I use all the time on trips). The board is very sturdy and is relatively easy to inflate. The 1st year, I inflated and deflated it after every use. However, inflating it is still a bit of a workout ' so this year I've left it inflated all year round and just throw it on the roof rack of my vehicle when I want to go out. I've had no problems at all travelling at speeds up to 80 km/hr. (I haven't tried faster). The board is still in perfect condition.The board is very stable, and easy to also carry a small passenger. I bring my 4yr-old daughter on it all the time. Alternatively, I've also switched it up by tying an inflatable rubber dingy to back of board and pulling her around the lake without any issues. So fun for the whole family!My only single complaint is about the paddle. It floats **IF** it is fully assembled. Unfortunately, on a trip this year, the paddle blade suddenly fell off which was surprising in of itself. But even more surprising was watching it sink. I had been paddling for 2 hours, so it would've have been a very long day trying to get back ' but fortunately - at that moment the water was only 8 ft deep, and I was able to dive down and get recover it.Still, I love the board and the gear. But'I will be getting a back-up paddle for future trips ??

Das Warten hat sich gelohnt

Nach langer Wartezeit wurde das Board endlich geliefert. (Bestellung am 24.08.23- Lieferung nach einigen Nachfragen am 12.09.23).
Der erste Test zeigte, daß sich das Warten gelohnt hat. Das Aufpumpen ging mit der Pumpe schnell und mühelos. Das Board ist äußerst stabil und vergleichsweise wendig und sieht dabei auch noch super aus. Das Paddel ist abgedichtet und somit schwimmfähig, dazu leicht und für größeren Krafteinsatz gut geeignet. Im direkten Vergleich zu anderen Boards ist die Wasserllage perfekt mit geringem Fahrwiderstand und für längere Touren gut geeignet. Einzig die Kickbackwende erfordert etwas Übung.
Ein Board noch geeignet für Anfänger, macht aber bei etwas mehr Erfahrung viel Spaß auf Touren und beim Yoga.
Leider fehlte der Klebstoff beim Werkzeug, aber vielleicht schicken Sie mir den ja noch zu.

Schönes SUP

Sehr gut verarbeitetes Board, gut zu fahren. Lediglich recht schwer und für zierliche, weniger muskulöse
Menschen nicht so gut zu transportieren. Das Paddel könnte etwas variabler (Länge) und besser verarbeitet sein. Die Pumpe funktioniert einwandfrei. Insgesamt bin ich bisher sehr zufrieden.
