SUP Explorer – The Best Places to Stand Up Paddle Board

I love this really calm, easy paddle. My favourite is going out later evening.

Lots to see: herons, eagles, sandpipers, trout jumping, beavers slapping their tales. And occasionally, an owl. It’s very serene once you get away from everyone else.

SUP Explorer Tips For Your Visit to Alouette River

  • Small area to unload or inflate your board; the small grass area is usually very busy with people inflating/deflating their SUPs and kayaks
  • Parking spots are pretty narrow
  • There’s sometimes a very short line up to get in the water because when the tide is higher, the beach entrance is pretty much just wide enough for one person to get in/out at a time
