SUP Explorer – The Best Places to Stand Up Paddle Board

I love this really calm, easy paddle. My favourite is going out later evening.

Lots to see: herons, eagles, sandpipers, trout jumping, beavers slapping their tales. And occasionally, an owl. It’s very serene once you get away from everyone else.

SUP Explorer Tips For Your Visit to Alouette River

Small area to unload or inflate your board; the small grass area is usually very busy with people inflating/deflating their SUPs and kayaks
Parking spots are pretty narrow
There’s sometimes a very short line up to get in the water because when the tide is higher, the beach entrance is pretty much just wide enough for one person to get in/out at a time
