SUP Explorer – The Best Places to Stand Up Paddle Board
This lake is very clean, clear, and a special place to explore because there are several waterfalls around the lake you can paddle right up to. Campsites are available for reservations, but they’re limited and since it’s a popular spot they can fill up quick. If you want to take a break from the water there is a lot of hiking in the area so you can easily set off on foot.

- Ask one of the paddle equipment renters about how to get to the waterfalls – they were VERY helpful (we missed one the first time).
- If you plan on camping be sure to book early.
- If you weren’t able to book in advance you can always call the number on the website to see if there were any last minute cancelations.
