SUP Explorer – The Best Places to Stand Up Paddle Board

We did an out-and-back paddle overnight trip across the Lewis Lake, up the Lewis River, into Shoshone Lake and camped at 8Q3 (backcountry permits required). Both lakes had wind in the afternoon and the river required some towing of boards. If you go, leave early! Water in June was cold but we were warm in 3mm wetsuits and 70°F+ sunny days.
