Φουσκωτή Καθιστή Θέση SUP Kayak

First and foremost, I found this SUP Kayak Seat to be well designed, easy to install and adjust, comfortable and reasonably priced. After using it for two days, problems developed with the two front strap clips! One separated into two pieces and the other became "stretched" out (See pics). This occurred while simply sitting on the SUP enjoying the surrounding views. Clearly, the clips failed due to excessive force (e.g., defined as enough to make them fail). I am about 5'11" and 172lbs and I may have been sitting back in the seat vs. more upright, but one would not think this would cause such damage to the clips. I am not planning to warranty the seat, as I do think it is a good seat. The clips, however, are obviously lacking and I will be replacing them with ones that will be much stronger (Something for Thurso Surf to consider in their future manufacturing process)...

During the first use two of the carabiners broke. I changed them to proper stronger, standard carabiners (not really meant to be used for this purpose).

Then during the second use the material got torn.

I’m 6’ 220lbs and after the first paddle the front latches were bending open. I replaced them with something stronger.

First time using a SUP. I bought the Tranquility Yoga SUP specifically for stability for exercising. Haven’t fallen off yet, lol! I feel confident on the this very well made board. Plus it’s beautifully designed.

This really helps with the awkwardness of carrying the SUP. It helps to distribute some of the weight onto the body, so you don't have to super grip carry from the handle alone. My mom's board doesn't have the convenient little clips - but she opted not to add them herself. She's fine with looping it through the handle and clipping the ends together.I personally love how the shoulder pad glitters. Its very subtle, but a nice touch. Overall this strap seems to be made pretty well and shouldn't fall apart after one or two uses.
