FAQs
Pumps with double-action will expel air while pulling up and pushing down, which allows for quicker inflation of your iSUP.
Pumps with triple-action are essentially double-action pumps another chamber that can pump twice as much air with each stroke = the fastest hand pump on the market.
While manual inflation can serve as a good warm-up for stand-up paddle boarding, it sometimes can take more effort. Our electric pump can inflate a THURSO SURF board to 15 PSI in less than 10 minutes.
Inflation with the hand pump can take between 5 and 10 minutes, depending on the pump used (double or triple action pump). Electric pumps take under 10 minutes., with no effort involved.

THURSO SURF 20PSI Rechargeable SUP Air Pump: It is very well built, it looks like it was built to Last. it feels incredibly well-made, and the materials seem high-quality and very durable. It's surprisingly hefty, it comes with a fantastic carry case. This pump delivers impressive inflation speed, the heavy-gauge cables connecting to the battery contribute to this efficiency. The air hose is a nice touch with a rubbery feel. It came with one valve adapter and it isn't removable, which limits versatility. While it is good for Kayaks Boats as advertised, it would have been better to be able to use it for other stuff as it is a great pump.I find that the pump is very loud and noisy, especially if used on a quiet beach or park, however, its quality difference justifies the higher price tag. Overall, I really like it, very efficient and durable*** This product was received for free under Amazon Vine program
This air pump is perfect for anyone that owns a air filled SUP, or similar water craft. The requirement of running the cable around when pumping my SUP has always been my biggest headache. However this air pump takes those problem away by providing alternatives - charging the device ahead of time at home. The accessories included are versatile and are pretty good build quality. I've tested the charge and it was running on charge for 30 minutes, only taking 1/4 of the battery. The performance is astonishing and i would recommend this product.
This rechargeable air pump comes with all the connectors as well as a case to store it in. It only has a car connector and no actual outlet plug. It does not have too much power to it, but still does the job. I found it came partially charged and i didnt have to charge it for a while so make sure you train your battery.
Please watch my included video first, before reading the review, as it will make more sense to visualize what I'm saying. This is a useful compressor, but it's use-specific for doing so. The first thing that it is NOT is a compressor for inflating car/vehicle tires, despite the size of it. It comes with a variety of attachments for inflating things that you would take camping, like inflatable mattresses, water loungers, and so on. Make sure to use the o-rings that it comes with on both sides of the hose, something not noted correctly in the manual. The manual also doesn't seem to note that there is a low-speed mode that is the default when it turns on, most useful on the suction side of it rather than inflation side, and a pulse mode with much higher output. Please see video for how to use these, as I didn't see anything in the manual about this. After you turn the power on, you set the pressure level you want to reach. Then when it is pumping the air, it automatically detects the pressure it's pushing, and will shut off automatically when it hits the pressure you set. Very useful. But be careful how high you set it; 20psi might not seem like much, but it's more than enough to destroy many inflatable things like pool toys.It comes in a nice hard-shell carry bag, as well. But it does take up a lot of space, for what it does.
I ordered the Thurso air pump to inflate our two stand up paddle boards and couldn't be happier. I no longer need to manually inflate and deflate them with the cumbersome plastic hand pump. The air pump comes in a nice semi hard case with handles for easy transport. The kit comes with the air pump, hose, a number of attachments and a couple charging cables. I wish the hose was a bit longer though. The unit is rechargeable and has a universal usb-c connection and cable for charging, but bring your own power adapter. There is hidden storage in the back of the unit where the additional cigarette lighter cord is stored but there is plenty of room here to store the usb-c cable, power adaptor and the attachments. Well thought out.Operation is simple with controls for on/off, adjusting pressure (max 20 psi) and switching between bar/psi. The screen shows the pressure of whatever it is that is being inflated. There are two ports for the hose on the side, one to inflate and the other to deflate. They are labeled but hard to read. To inflate my sups takes about 10 min, deflating takes about the same. I'll note that the hose is rigid and there isn't a pivot at the ends so twisting them on takes a bit of effort. Battery life is excellent. The Thurso air pump is well made and has survived a few bangs. Inflating and deflating my sups is actually a fun activity now.

This pump is compact and comes with its own carry case. I find it quieter than other pumps and faster than the pumps I’ve used. Very happy with my purchase.
Does the job, takes a while and is noisy. It was free product so definitely can’t moan, I would buy it but I wouldn’t want to pay much for it, I’d recommend researching other alternatives.
Tres bonne pompe facile a utiliser , seul inconvenient ne peut gonfler que 2 paddle board cons茅cutivement

Very impressed. Powerful and effective. Great options pressure. Love the power through with the usb or car plug as well as charging. Handy little storage unit in the back. The plugs are all the sizes I need for each job (including air mattresses and snow tubes). Battery lasts a long time. Charge time is pretty quick. Love the storage case to fit everything in, semi-hardshell is perfect.
I haven't got a SUP yet but I plan on getting one for this next summer. I was psyched to see an electric pump. I've seen people down by the water pump in with foot pumps - this will be way more practical! It came with some scratches on it unfortunately. Always a bummer when getting a new product to see it in less than perfect condition - what happened? But it works fine. It doesn't blow super hard but I imagine it's calibrated to be enough for a SUP. You can choose the PSI (pressure) up to 20 (not sure the measurement). It can inflate and deflate depending where you plug the hose in. Can't speak to the battery time before needing a recharge. It seems to make a lot of noise in the video when not covering anything - with my hand over it theres no sound. I imagine it will be likewise silent when blowing up a SUP.Look forward to testing it out this summer! Is 200$ an acceptable price? I'm not really knowledgeable about this class of products to give an opinion on it. I'll just say, for that price, I'd expect it to arrive pristine without any scratches on it.
My first impression is that, wow, this is not small. Because I've a electric pump for tires and another pump for air mattress. Compare this one to the others, this one is like 3 or 4 times bigger. May be compare to the other SUP pump. this is consider small? But it is not too heavy, only 1.6Kg (3.5lb).I tested this on a 48" snow tube. As you see in the video, it took 3 mins to pump it up. That's quick. The noise level is acceptable, not too loud to me. It works in 2 stage. First is the fast stage. When it detects the object has reached certain pressure, it will switch to the power stage in order to reach the target PSI. You can head the sound is different. If I know how much PSI it needs, I can set it and the pump will stop at the target level. The max PSI is 20 (see picture).I pumped this snow tube twice and that reduced 1 power bar (out of 4) on the battery indicator (it was fully charged). This pump can be charged using USB cable or 12V DC Car Connector. Both are provided. This pump has a solid build, very study. The design is nice, and easy to carry around. It comes with a case so that everything can be stored in the case. I don't have to worry about losing the connectors. The price is a bit high compare to many other SUP pump. Probably because it has a bigger battery and is dual stage.Overall, it is a very good pump and get the job done very quickly. I like it portable so I can pump up the inflatable near the water, not at the car.
I don't want to gush too much about this rechargeable pump but it is pretty awesome. It seems to charge up fairly quickly although is was partially charged upon arrival. There is an inflate and deflate port.Once it had a full charge I used it to pump two paddle boards to 16 psi. When the second board was complete the battery level had just dropped from two bars to one. I feel that a third board could've been pumped up. I then used it to totally deflate one board and the battery level showed as two bars indicating that it was probably right on the line. Lots of juice left. The only two things that I would like to see changed on this are the labels for the inflate/deflate. They need to be easier to read. Also the case needs a shoulder strap. That's it. oh and it took about 10 minutes or slightly less to pump up each board. It's so great not having to rely on a cigarette light adaptor, but if you want to or need to there is one included as well as a USB-C charging cable. It took about three hours to recharge the pump afterward but it's wasn't totally dead. There are also a couple of other attachments included to pump up air mattresses etc.I would definitely recommend this pump. It does everything that you need with the convenience of not requiring electricity or power to do it.
I only tired it indoors since it's the winter but it worked great. Its small and comes with a case. Easy to throw into the car when going out but it's battery powered so if the lake/river is a decent walk from the car you don't need to inflate the paddle board and then carry it inflated.Worked great and connected fine to that weird sup locking nozzle thing
This pump is compact and comes with its own carry case. I find it quieter than other pumps and faster than the pumps I’ve used. Very happy with my purchase.
The pump is excellent. It is made of high quality and very solid. It probably weighs more than the 2.6 pounds in the description. It is built to last. And the carrying case is top quality. The cables to connect to the battery are heavy gauge. It inflates rapidly. I would guess less than 5 minutes for my 13-foot kayak. The air hose is rubberized, but as you may be able to see in the photos, it comes with only that one valve adapter. It does come with the choice of a red or black washer. lolThe adapters cannot be removed. The adapter is the one I need but twisting the hose onto the pump is a bit awkward as neither end of the hose swivels within the attachments. The maximum pressure on the gauge is 15 psi, as in the description. The second stage (piston) is noisy but bearable.I first ordered a Seamax. It went back immediately. There is no comparison even factoring in the additional cost.I highly recommend it. Just keep the shortcomings in mind.
