Kayak Conversion Kit

First time using a SUP. I bought the Tranquility Yoga SUP specifically for stability for exercising. Haven’t fallen off yet, lol! I feel confident on the this very well made board. Plus it’s beautifully designed.

I was excited to finally use my paddle board I bought 18months ago. So before finally schedule vacation outing I bought the seat for my 6 year old to be comfortable and feel safe. So brand SUP and seat at Lake Arrowhead, boat wake flipped the board over, the bag which came with is not really secure on the seat as shown, gone and seat torn!!! I cant load a pic but I will be happy to send it.

So fun to kayak on my SUP! I felt supported enough by the seat to be able to lean into my strokes and I was comfortable with paddling. My only suggestion is having some sort of foot support, perhaps a wedge that can also attach.

I am so happy about my decision to buy a Thurso paddle board. I just tested my kayak seat today. It makes me enjoy the season for à longer period of time.

I bought this SUP carrier as a combo with a new board which made the price acceptable. I find it's a sturdy carrier and the brand detailing is quite detailed. Don't buy this if you don't want your carrier to scream Thurso Surf fanatic though. I'm a little worried about the durability since the attachments are merely a plastic hook with a thin metal closure. All in all I would recommend the carrier since it has a wide shoulder band, has been comfortable in use and hasn't failed me so far.
