I purchased this for a family vacation si I could snorkle and swim and not worry about leaving my phone and wallet on the beach. This bag handled that perfectly. I was skeptical at first and put it in a bucket of water for a few hours at home before I left with some napkins to test. I was dry inside after about 2 hours. When I first got to the beach on the vacation, I had my wife hold cell and wallet and went in for about an hour and when I came out it was bone dry inside. Now that I trusted it, I put it all in, and it worked great. It's a little larger than I'd like, but I guess that's not a bad thing I guess. The material is fairly stiff, it's like a molded rubber or a rubber coated cloth. The zipper can be a little stiff and comes with some silicone. Thisnactually put my mind at east that it wouldn't open up while swimming, so while it wasn't the easiest to open and close I believe that's a feature. Is it water tight? Yes, very much so. You do have to look to make sure the zipper is FULLY closed. I know that sounds obvious, but but if you're used to having a waste bag and haphazardly opening and closing it, it won't be waterproof unless it's FULLY CLOSED.You can use it 2 different ways, leave it puffed up full of air and it will float, push the air out before zipping it and it will not. You may not want it to float if you're snorkeling or swimming below the water and don't want the buoyancy. I got a bright yellow one to make it easier to see if it came off. I'll probably let it float if I'm canoeing or something where I'm not in the water, but take the air out if I'm swimming. The belt is also removable, which is a great feature to me. I'm a larger guy and most of the other bags I looked at were on the smaller size for me. You can change out the belt for a larger one, a more comfortable one, or a new one if the old one becomes unserviceable. I used a dive weight belt that fits me a little better.Overall I'm quite pleased with this bag as we're a few people I saw while on vacation who asked how to get one.If I could change anything about it, it would be to make a model a little smaller in addition to this one to be a little less obvious when not in the water but overall a great product.
This is a good little zippered dry bag. The zipper is a little stiff but comes with a little tube of lubricant that also keeps it waterproof. The back of the bag has belt loops and velcro straps. It comes with a basic belt to put through the loops or you can use the straps to attach it to your equipment. It is a little boxy, meaning it soft but stiff so it holds its rectangular shape. This feels a little weird but can also be a nice feature. Just know that it won't be laying flat on your waist. Like most dry bags, it is one compartment but there is a little netting on the side to tuck small items for ease of finding later. It is a nice bag for keeping some items dry.
I got this to use on my paddle board to put my phone, keys, etc. It seems to be just as pictured and described. Update to come.
The Good:-Waterproof-Looks good-Secure wrist band-Great for the beachThe Bad:-NoneThe Bottom Line:I take this all the time to the beach since it is water and sand proof. The belt is secure and you could wear it while paddle boarding if you want. Overall, I would recommend this Danny pack for it's size and quality.
This is a nicely made and fairly spacious little bag with some nice options for mounting to a belt or pack. It's made from a TPU or silicone style material that's decently thick and while it is flexible it is able to keep its structure. The waterproof zipper was a little stiff, which is normal in my experience, but after lubricating it with the included gel it did improve and was waterproof in my testing although I only submerged it for a minute or so to check it out. The rear of the little pouch has both belt loops and four velcro straps that are MOLLE compatible which makes it easy to lash to most packs even if they don't have MOLLE webbing. All the seams are cleanly welded; overall it's a well made pouch that I really don't have any complaints with.

I'm really impressed with this bag - and I get compliments from others on it. It's super handy to have for protecting things that don't like being wet while enjoying water activities. I just took this on a day of tubing and it kept 4 cell phones and several wallets completely dry the whole day. It's truly amazing how airtight something with a zipper can be. And the belt is easy to put on/off and tighten around any number of things to stay put. I'm loving this bag!
This dry bag is perfect for your personal use. The bag is well made, a nice shape and size to house your daily needs. The inside has a pocket that you can slip your cell phone into. I put the bag in the sink underwater with paper towels to test it. Contents were dry when I opened it. This means it would be great for any outdoor adventures around the water. The strap that comes with it will work well as a fanny pack. There are velcro straps on the back that would allow you to attach it to a cooler or a boat strap. The zipper is a little difficult to pull and requires that you line it up and pull it completely shut to the end of the bag. There is a tube of zipper lubricant included if you need it. I am not sure that I would feel comfortable trusting the bag enough to purposefully submerge it with valuables in the bag. I feel that operator error may be an issue, but it is a great additional layer of protection for water activities.I like the color green. It looks like it belongs outdoors.Overall, I would recommend purchasing this bag.
I grabbed this THURSO SURF Waterproof Fanny Pack Dry Bag for us to have while at the beach, pool, and when we kayak, knowing that we prefer to have our gear protected from getting wet. To that end, this THURSO SURF Waterproof Fanny Pack Dry Bag is a nice size - larger than expected - perfect for one or two people.1. It comes with the bag and strap. Easy to put the strap on through the straps on the back, or anchor it to your kayak or SUP (we have not tried it, so do not know to what extent the strap included can be used for that purpose.2. The size is really big. We were surprised by this, but pleasantly so. Now we can carry both our personal items together and not have to carry extra bags (say one for each of us). It allows us to take turns carrying/wearing it, as well as allows us to carry a bit more than we have tended to.3. We have not tested the “waterproof” element yet, so we are trusting it. We tend to keep our bags away from the water, but it is still close enough as we walk along the beach or sit by a pool. So yes, being dry is important. But we would prefer it NOT going into the water. We cannot guarantee that won't happen however, so we have to trust that if it gets wet it's protecting the stuff inside. That said, it does not claim for the zipper to be waterproof, so submersion would still be an issue, whereas getting splashed should protect what's inside.Overall it's a nice looking, nice wearing, nice sized for two people bag that will continue to give us the ability to carry personal gear while keeping it protected while near water. We are very pleased with the THURSO SURF Waterproof Fanny Pack Dry Bag.
This is the ultimate waterproof protection bag you will ever need! It truly is an airtight, watertight bag that protect your valuables from water! I actually emerged it in water and it remained water tight! When I first tried to unzip pouch it was very difficult to move the zipper. Please be careful when opening pouch. The manufacturer actually provides instructions on how to do so. Make sure to do exactly as instructed and use the lubricant that comes with it. Great value!
We often go to water parks, and kayaking, and the beach and this has been perfect to hold my phone and keys and some other small items to keep them from getting wet. It was especially useful when I have been kayaking and haven't had to worry about my phone or keys getting wet. Absolute must have for the outdoor type.
Most importantly, this bag is waterproof. I tested it by spraying a steady stream of water all over the outside of the bag. The inside remained completely dry! I give it 5 stars for that. I deducted a star since it is not ideal for wearing on your body. While I appreciate the large capacity of the bag, I found it too large to wear either as a rear fanny pack, front fanny pack or cross body bag. I also would have preferred if the buckle on the belt was a quick side release buckle as is commonly used on fanny pack belts. Instead of wearing this as a fanny pack or cross body bag, I will use the velcro straps to attach the bag to my backpack when I go hiking. Due to its waterproof nature, I will be using this bag often when I need to keep my personal items dry.
This THURSO dry bag is sturdy, well made and is waterproof. I don't mean just splash and rain-proof, I mean fully submersible waterproof. I demonstrate that in my video. You don't need to dunk it in water to prove it is waterproof. If you zip if shut and squeeze it, you can't force any air out. That trapped air helps it remain buoyant should you drop it in the water.I think the Velcro straps on the back are meant for securing the bag to a paddleboard or kayak. The size and spacing of those Velcro straps fit standard MOLLE so you can strap this THURSO bag to a tactical backpack if you want.
