2019 has nearly come to an end! To us, that means another paddle season is just around the corner. Before you start planning next year’s SUP adventures, have a look back a some of 2019’s most popular posts. We tried to cover the wide variety in paddlers, adventures, activities, destinations and everything in between (shout out to our furry paddlers! 🐕
🐶) but to see lots (lots!) more, head over to our Instagram and tag #thursosurf whenever you paddle out.
Every year is a blast because of the images you share. Since we all can’t be out on the water 24/7 it’s nice to have a look at what fellow SUP lovers are up to. Sometimes you find inspiration, other times a new destination. But, regardless of what you find, you get to see people (and pets) doing what we all love…stand up paddleboarding. Sit back relax and scroll through some of this year’s most popular posts.
@isupworld gave us the motivation to get out on the water ASAP. Looking at this photo who wouldn’t want to be standing on the water’s edge ready to head out for the day.
@spencer_fishin_727 showed us how to setup a SUP for a serious fishing expedition. It’s nice when one of your favorite fishing spots is the deck of your stand up paddleboard.
@hikesnearvancouver reminded us that stand up paddleboarding can be an all-season sport. And, if you’re willing, you can take your board almost anywhere with you.
Throughout the year @inflatable.boarder provided thorough reviews of our gear and great videos to go along with them. In this pic, he reminded us that stand up paddleboarding is fun for everyone, no matter their age.
@jd.schnell struck a solid ‘shaka’ 🤙on a glacial lake we’d all like to paddle. Not to mention the impressive background of snowcapped mountains, forests and cloud cover. Wonder what next year will bring?
🤔@marie_mauve encouraged everyone to head out this fall in search of colors to match this shot. Looks like a lovely way to spend an autumn day. 2020 goal – warm apple cider after a fall paddle.
@rose.sepia kept us thinking about our next great road trip, weekend camp, and simply enjoying the great outdoors. Looks like a nice setup, can’t wait to hit the trails + water next year. There’s nothing like a campfire after a long day’s paddle.
@west_coast_heeler_pack shared smiles and an occasional paw from the water. All of these furry friends are paddling pros in our book. Keep on paddling, crew… or should we say pack!?
@wickedsaltykate & @wickedsaltywes helped us daydream about sailing and paddling out from our sailboats. Here’s to pastel sunsets and fair winds.
@austinblack25 proved that inflatable standup paddleboards can carry some serious lumber, no matter what you have planned for the day. Certainly looks like a great way to collect fire wood! 🏕 🔥
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! 🎅🎁🎄🎆🍾
